I selfship cause I love characters and want to show them love. I am fully aware of the fact that they're not real and it'd be basically impossible to find them in someone that actually exists. This same sentiment is held by the overwhelming majority of selfshippers, with the exception of some people that are probably so depressed that they've entered a form of psychosis.
