Children fucking died horribly and that is a tragedy regardless of which "side" you bigoted fucking pissant. No one's fucking ignoring Japanese war crimes here, but saying, "Oh but I don't feel much sympathy for those Japanese kids who died in horrible ways because starvation is a long, slow death and wasn't an uncommon sight back then."

I never said anything remotely like this. I said chastizing people for having complicated feelings regarding Japanese war films when personally affected by having family members among the thirty million people who died in Asia as a result of Japanese imperialism (i.e., what this thread is about, what everyone in this thread is talking about) is deranged.

Take a deep breath, and read the words written instead of screaming obscenities into the void. Of course it's bad that children died. I agree! We all agree (except the weird Wehraboo troll below perhaps). But people holding emotional and not always rational, perfectly philosophically equal resentment over the several orders of magnitude more children who died as a result of Japanese war crimes, especially given the way this is never addressed in any meaningful fashion in Japanese war media, is not "bigoted". It's honestly pretty fucked up to imply that it is.
