When I say I like certain streamers, I mean that I like watching vods of streamers doing their thing, which is mostly commenting on news or playing games.

I prefer the long-form videos so I can pause or replay things. It's also similarly entertaining but feels less creepy parasocial because the audience they're interacting with is not "me," it's people in the chat who were watching at the time, the same as any recorded performance with a live audience.

I have absolutely zero interest in watching their livestreams live, though. I kind of feel like a bad fan.
