That sounds very frustrating! I’m kinda torn on this one. I like what the other commenters are saying but I don’t really have a good frame of reference for how to maintain a good relationship with a sibling. Part of me is saying that in your shoes, I’d make excuses to stop doing it.

Maybe now that you’ve realized this about her, you can kinda anticipate that as you read and prepare yourself for how discussions are likely to go. I do think it would be awesome if you could keep doing it and help her broaden her comprehension and develop a sense for nuance, foreshadowing, and multilayered effects.
