Someone told me, unironically, that I should watch mainstream sitcoms because they have canon gay couples. Alas, all of them are sassy shrill campy-to-the max checking every box on a list of stereotypes, none of them are just people who happen to be gay. It's such a low bar to clear and yet...

Watch Brooklyn 99. Bisexual and gay characters that break the mold imo. And the show is funny.
