I like seeing interracial ships in various media, especially if it's a POC character being pursued as the main LI.

But when it's a white girl who ~just happens~ to only go for black guys, or a white guy who ~just happens~ to only go for asian girls, don't give anyone else a second glance and the only thing the LIs have in common is their race...

Even if the circumstances all conveniently fall into place to make this plausible I'm cringing so hard it's difficult to keep reading/watching. I get this is a thing that happens IRL but I can't shake the "creator's thinly disguised fetish idfic" feeling.
