I almost made a secret about my guilt 'using' secret!maker anon! But I am at the point where they are actually inspiring me to make my own, lack of talent be damned.

YES. This is how it should be. I promise you, if I'd waited until I got to be an expert at making secrets... you'd all still be waiting. :)

I do sometimes make secrets even though mine don't look nearly as good. But I just don't have the time or energy most weeks. It is so much easier to let someone else make, and I'm very grateful to the people who post those threads and then turn the comments into pretty secrets.

OP, don't feel bad! I don't mind it at all, and my design skills are nothing to write home about, either. I just started doing this because it seemed like there were quite a few people who wanted to make secrets, but didn't have the time AND the community was getting fewer secrets as a result. I like FS and wanted to help, and people have been very nice about my efforts even when the end result is not the greatest. So don't feel guilty for submitting comment secrets, but I hope that you'll make and submit secrets of your own as well!

I really appreciate what you do to keep the comm active, and enjoy the designs you make!

I wouldn't worry a lot about graphic design, here. There's a lot of secrets that aren't great examples of that, just text pasted over a related image. It's cool when something is also well-designed or a visual pun, but it's not a requirement.
