maybe unpopular opinion, but I disagree, OP. yeah, EoE movie had a lot of ???? stuff in it. but I still like it better as an ending than the new EVA movies. imo Evangelion deserves its bad ending, and EoE was perfect as one.
I lowkey understand the ending of the new movies was like, a metaphor for moving on from Eva in real world, the ending song was great, etc etc, but idk.
End of Evangelion was horrifying in many ways, and it feels like the most right thing to me. I do understand not liking it tho, it really had very little sense in a lot of its parts.
