I've had muscle strains that were this painful, it can be really bad. However, that it seems to be worsening and is bothering you so much is definitely worth discussing with your doctor. It could be a more serious injury, or they may be able to help with your symptoms. Getting it checked out again is a good idea. Good luck!

Thanks. The doctor does have a portal, so I think I'll send her a message in the morning and see what she says.

Yw, hope the pain clears up soon. I had a lower back strain a couple years ago (workplace injury) that limited my mobility for a couple weeks, with awful pain. Same thing with a shoulder injury more recently. The treatment for both was just resting, muscle relaxers and PT, thankfully nothing more serious was going on underneath the injuries despite the symptoms being so extreme. So hopefully you get good news. I do strongly support getting checked out to make sure it's normal (cause I sure am not a doctor!), glad you're going to write to the doctor!
