I get that these days it's to be the early bird streamer who gets to do jumpscare reaction videos before other people, but it's incredibly pointless to me too. I'm an oldie who used to pre-order physical copies from my local game shop and get neat t-shirts, steelbooks and keychains as bonuses.

The amount of digital pre-orders for the Silent Hill 2 remake was insane.
