The problem I have with it is that they never fully commit to it though. Like, he is absolutely horrendous, but in a way, he still stays the 'aw shucks' guy, even in the second episode. I feel like if they had fully condemned him and actually said 'no, his actions were completely reprehensible and irredeemable (pun kinda intended), I would have been a lot more positive about it. But they never do, not even in the second episode, so, it just all leaves a really bad taste in my mouth.
