Do you read it for emotional satisfaction? I like how nsfw fic by nature involves subject matter of vulnerability, intimacy and control. Sometimes I am reading just for my kinks, sometimes I am reading ships/kinks that don't personally appeal to me because I find the story interesting from a character perspective and the author really sells it for me.
