I enjoy seeing trolling that results in genuine discussions from others, even if it started from someone being inflammatory or absurd on purpose. I think that type of thing can be good for activity in a community. Some trolling is also genuinely funny. I've had a good laugh at some of the funny ones. I ignore trolling that is just spamming non sequiturs or bringing up completely non fandom topics out of nowhere, as well as a routine that has gone on for too long.

Debating silly stuff online can be fun, but if you are feeling upset by it or like the other person is deliberately trying to get a rise out of you it's a good idea to let it go and focus on something else, troll or not.
