Your favourite bad horror movies

I also really enjoy any horror villains that end up in space like Jason and Leprechaun.

(Anonymous) 2024-10-28 12:28 am (UTC)(link)Sleepwalkers I don't know that I'd call 'bad', but it's not exactly highly-rated. I LOVE Sleepwalkers.
In terms of genuinely just really laughably bad, Plan Nine From Outer Space and Parts: The Clonus Horror! Which, if you have less tolerance for crappy movies, you might rather watch in Mystery Science Theater form (admittedly the best vehicle for sitting through Manos: Hands of Fate), but those are also ones where I just genuinely have so much fondness for the movie itself. Parts I found *because* of MST3k but the movie made a real impression on me. (and then years later they made The Island and I was SO mad because it was clearly just Parts with the serial numbers filed off and it didn't even look FUN)
The Spirit Halloween movie was... not a quality film, but I just happen to be the EXACT person it was tailor-made for.

(Anonymous) 2024-10-28 02:05 am (UTC)(link)Blade Trinity - I like Ryan Reynolds performance in it. It's not really a proper 'Blade' movie, since he is really not there for very much (Wesley Snipes did not want to be there and that's in the performance, but it kind works for the character).
