But why don't your slash faves get fic and attention? Slash is generally more popular than het.

Not all pairings. I've had quite a few rarepairs that only got a couple of fics.

in my main fandom, my slash OTP IS the main pairing, but there's hardly and smut, whereas in this new fandom, there is TONS OF SMUT OF THIS HET PAIRING like I am EATING SO GOOD it's INSANE. I guess it's from coming from a smaller fandom to a larger one (though this one is largely dead since the canon ended over ten years ago), or it's the fact that the show ran for longer, or whatever, but there is just more PORN EVERYWHERE and EVERYONE AGREES that the man is the sub and the woman is the domme and I didn't know I needed that in my life until now lol. I don't want to name the fandom since I've been flooding the fandom with new fic (slash and het alike) but it's so different and I'm loving it!

SAME. It's not that I'm against het pairings, I just haven't had any that I liked before (I'm picky about ships in general). But I too now have a f/m pairing I adore, AND she tops.

Ahh it's a little embarassing but Genshin Impact, Mavuika (f) and Capitano (m). The corner of fandom I'm in has him as a sub for her. It's great.
