I was worried for a second that I was turning gay because i was sexually attracted to her long before i found out she was a female and because i find her hotter as a dude

For context, there was some weird ass secret about this same character along the same vein a while back, about how men would totally know she's a woman because pheromones and it totally doesn't make someone gay if they crushed on her while she was crossdressing because men could totally tell.

But the 2nd part, what I was trying to say is pretty sure that's not how turning gay works and you don't have much to worry about. Like even if it turned out she was a guy, you'd be turning the most fractionally bi if anything unless you're suddenly uninterested in women. All the attraction to women would still be there, and one random fictional exception wouldn't change that, right?
