So, this sucks today. The sweet potato Hitler’s first term was bad enough when he didn’t understand, nor did anyone around him, how government worked. They’ve figured it out, and this is going to be awful for so many people.
All because the price of eggs is too high, right?

Tbf still I don't think he has any idea how things work, and his brain is definitely not in better condition than 8 years ago. If there's any hope about to be had it's that Trump will fuck up Project 2025 just as badly as he fucked up everything else before too. It's not like he's got the greatest track record of following through with literally anything.

Trump definitely has no idea how things work, he just brute forces everything to go his way and doesn't understand why the systems don't bend to his will.

But I worry about the basically all red administration. At least before, there were some guaranteed to resist his bullshit. That combined with the balance of powers falling out of balance these last few years... yeah, I worry. Crossing fingers and toes that there are far more decent Rs than shitty Rs in Congress, but I also keep putting my faith in humanity and keep getting disappointed... so we'll see.

I have a feeling they're going to begin eating their own. They were already starting to before, but if they have control and now must actually govern, the extreme far right nutters vs. the establishment conservatives rift is going to widen and we're going to see that on full display. Especially if the establishment find themselves not wanting what Trump wants, which is bound to happen because he's a random idiot and operates on feelings, not data.

nayrt but this is a fair point, sweet potatoes contain a lot of nutrition, Donnie only contains toxins (and not even the fun kind).
