I'm having a hard time dealing with the reality that people wanted him to be president again after his first disastrous term.

They didn't want him to win, but they really wanted you all to lose.

But Democrats have to bear a lot of the blame. Trump won because Democrats were leaving the middle states, meaning it is easier and easier for Republicans to win the electoral college. You want to win, ever again, then start recolonizing middle America, flyoverlandia, and the South. Move to red states, and rural areas, and start fighting instead of fleeing and hoping someone else does the hard work for you. Cowards.

I won't lose anything. I'm lucky enough to be comfortably off and I'll probably benefit even more during his presidency if the stock market's reaction was anything to expect. I live in "flyoverlandia", albeit in a town rather than the country, and have no intention of moving.
