I wish we'd get cold weather at least. I'm in OK so not far from you!

Off topic kind of, but I am hoping to visit Denver with my niblings next summer. Would you recommend Denver for 4-5 days?

Yes, I would recommend Denver for a visit!

Our Museum of Nature and Science is very good.
I love the Georgetown Loop, highly recommend.
We have a Meow Wolf. It’s crazy, but kids love it.
Loads of places to bike to in the metro area, and both Lime and Lyft have bikes for rent.
Elitche’s Gardens can be a lot of fun.
I do love the Art Museum, too.
I love taking people to Red Rocks or Roxborough Parks to see the awesome rocks.
Wings over the Rockies is another cool museum.

There’s a lot to do with kids around here!

Thank you! It is close enough for a short flight (my niece's first) so I'm excited about there being a lot to do. How is public transportation?

It’s quite good! The bus system (RTD) has decent coverage, a lot of the city is walkable, and there are, as I said, Lime & Lyft bikes and scooters.

I can't trust my niece on a scooter. She is liable to try and jump some stairs with her 6yo little body. She has no fear.
