I don't know if it was fan pressure because iirc most of us hated the idea, but Pete and Myka being hinted at then becoming a couple in the final season of Warehouse 13 was a total wtf for me.

Apparently that was the producers shipping it, nothing to do with the fans! After all those times they were extremely clear that Myka and Pete were platonic friends and even used it as a plot point.

Ah thanks anon, now I remember more details about how it went down. I agree that it was never presented as anything other than platonic until then. It was a pretty sour note on the end of a series I enjoyed quite a lot.
