Yeah, it's not good. I find it especially disheartening given how little Harris actually said about trans issues during the campaign (I certainly would prefer her to have won the election and hoped she would, at the same time I wondered how much that was strategy and how much that would continue being the case during her presidency). I guess people are looking for a scapegoat, and homophobes/transphobes are probably feeling emboldened by Trump's win.

Scapegoats are how Trump won. It is super easy to blame immigrants for the problems actually caused by the wealthy and businesses and to demonize them.
