Naruto would've been a lot better without the filler. Or maybe it just dragged on so long it felt like filler.

As someone who read the manga, Naruto just felt like it dragged for ages after the Pain arc.

As another manga reader, tbh everything after the time skip was kind of oddly paced/structured.
