I feel that.

I used to like reading about them around a decade ago, but as things have progressed, there came a point in which it feels closer to an "acceptable" way for people to be fascist fucks. I used to read them on 4chan before 2014, but seeing them appear more and more on YouTube lately has made me worry a lot for our times. Art is but a reflection of a society.

It is why, as much as I would love to get into Warhammer 40k, I can't help but side-eye whenever the Imperium are treated as the good guys, and especially those that forget it is satire. Because among them, there's the assholes that wish the methods of the Imperium were enforced.
