Of all the Warhammer 40K spinoffs and expanded universe stuff, only the Ciaphas Cain books feel like the author understood the assignment. He really gets the twisted, campy, parody aspect that the first couple of editions were famous for. The tone that made it popular in the first place. I want more of that.
