I used to be jealous of Australians for getting to have Xmas in summer.

We still have wrapping paper and cards displaying winter landscapes and snowflakes, and nativity scenes generally have a snowy look despite the nativity taking place in the Middle East. I wouldn't be as bothered about celebrating Christmas in summer if we matched weather with what was depicted on images

I actually kind of like that we can choose to have a little something completely opposite, or decide to decorate with more of a surfing Santa or native plants feel.
But I do feel sorry for the people playing Santa, full costume in the heat!

It just means we have end of the work year parties, end of the school year parties, Christmas and "beach body" ads all at once!
