A lot of Disney couples, unfortunately. Like, I don't see Tiana and Naveen lasting, for example. And as much as I love Aladdin the movie and him as a character,maybe not him and Jasmine.

idk, I think the cartoon series gave Aladdin and Jasmine the needed time to actually grow into a proper couple. in other words, movies are hardly a glimpse into why people get together or whether they can last, but you see them continue to grow over a series it makes sense.

I had the same thought with Aladdin and Jasmine. If just the first movie existed I could see where they're questionable, but the series gave them a nice long engagement and showed how they can work.

The series, plus the two sequel movies. Altogether we get to see their actual relationship develop at least to a greater extend than most other Disney romances.
