Don't know if this is really politics. But I love how everyone is cheering for the guy to get away.

Did you see the video? That was a straight up hit. Hitman even shot him in the leg first to make sure if the bystander interfered that his target couldn’t escape while he dealt with the bystander.
He stopped at Starbucks just before and is on camera with half his face showing. He’s a lot younger than I expect, like maybe mid to late 20s. Cold as fucking ice in the shooting video though.

It's definitely a good start.

It was allowed yesterday, and health insurance is a hot topic in politics, so why not.

After some reflection, I probably feel a little bad for his family. I also think it should come as no surprise that he was targeted. And I hope other CEOs of corporations will take something away from this, but something tells me it won't be "we should stop screwing over people" until this kind of thing repeats itself enough.

The hit was because of insider trading. Even if he’d been targeted because he was the CEO of a predatory business model that kills thousands annually, it wouldn’t change anything in our favor. The bigwigs would just hire expensive paramilitary security and charge us more while also writing the cost off through any of the infinite loopholes the IRS provides just to corporations and the super rich.

The hit was because of insider trading.

Where are you getting that information? None of the news stories I've seen remotely point toward that.

It was easy to connect the dots. And if you turn on the news this morning, they’re saying it now.

I get the feeling they'll more likely invest in private secuirty and find special ways to get the media to have "won't somebody think of the wealthy?!" moral panic-style think pieces that creates harsh legislation against poor people and gives rich people/corporations more rights and strips regular citizens of rights we didn't even know could be taken away from us.
