When I was a wee shipper I used to care about my ships going canon more, but as I got older I got far more chill with it. Like I still enjoy my ships that get to be canon, but I'm not shipping a pair of friends and expecting it to happen because that honestly just kind of ruins the fun of shipping them in the first place. Setting expectations onto something is one of the best ways to end up very disappointed and I've learned to be far more chill with that shit over the years.

It's fiction, it's not meant to be stressful.
