What do you want this comm to do, give you a medal for not actually being as much of a troll as you could be?

I don't even see anyone using pronouns in this thread. I guess beards could me male specific but why do you think they don't include bearded women? Hell, I regularly see transphobes characterizing trans women as like '6 foot tall BEARDED men following my daughter around!!!'

Recognise that I am posting way less mean shit and getting way more pushback than the average user, that your perception of me as a troll is bullsit, and recognise am not taking easy obvious opportunities to just say trollish shit because I am "a cancer on this community".

"What do you want this comm to do, give you a medal for not actually being as much of a troll as you could be?"

What do you want me to do? Not be sayin trollish shit, and then NOT mention when I didnt say trollish shit, and expect the absence of trollish shit to be just accepted as proof I'm not a troll?

No-one notices an abscence of meanness.

I'm not expecting a medal, but if I want anyone to notice I'm not actually a troll, I have to make it a point. You cant prove I'm a troll and wont accept me somly not saying trollish shit as proof of me not being a troll, so the burden of proof to POINT OUT that not only am I not a troll, but LESS mean than the average user falls on me, doesnt it?

I have to prove a negative. So here I am. Pointing out a notable LACK of trolling or being a jerk about the way people look.

'What do you want me to do? Not be sayin trollish shit, and then NOT mention when I didnt say trollish shit, and expect the absence of trollish shit to be just accepted as proof I'm not a troll?'

I mean, that's normally how people do it? If people think you're a troll now, you must have done something to make them think that. Your only argument is that you COULD be more of a troll but you refrain from it, so we should all apologize to you for calling you a troll when you're a troll but not as much of a troll as you could be?

"If people think you're a troll now, you must have done something to make them think that"

"There's no smoke without fire". Here. On fandom Secrets? So I guess you're new. Welcome. Honest opinions and disagreements are deliberately misinterpreted as intentionally inflammatory dishonest trolling every day. Most often just as an attempt to shut people down and so they don't have to face the possibility that ACTUAL REAL PEOPLE might possibly disagree with your objectively correct opinions.

"that's normally how people do it"

Nope. Not here. NORMALLY people just write off troll accusations as "Oh, sad angry bitter loser just lashing out because it makes them feel good to hurt other people".
And I'm normally perfectly happy to rationalize it like that. But I don't LIKE to think like that. I would LIKE to believe people are mostly just kind, and if someone says "You're the cancer of this community" you could maybe spend a bit of time showing them you're not, rather than just assuming they're a manipulative shitbag.
