I don't want to insensitive, but... I've been saying this for years during the mid 2010s, when HP was still everyone's darling and people were comparing Trump to Voldemort and claiming dumb crap like adults who read HP as kids are "more prepared" for political events or that it predicted it. I was written off as a no fun curmudgeon who needs to let people be happy. JKR has always, always, had bigotry issues, but no one listened to me until their pet topic of trans rights were attacked. The signs were there, but now you finally care about racism and mild conservatism.
