Re: Do you like sci-fi/fantasy?

I really enjoy both fantasy and sci-fi, including the variations of hard/soft sci-fi as well.

For fantasy it's the pure escapism that I like, magic and monsters with kings and heroes who are 'destined' for greatness and all that jazz. Plus anything with dragons in is always something I'll give a try. It stems mostly from my love of Tolkien and DnD that I got into as a kid, but I'll give most fantasy stories a try because I just like spells and magical monsters man.

Sci-fi is a very variable genre but I like stories that are more about questioning social norms or making A Point, and I also like the sci-fi that's more action oriented. Also horror sci-fi is fucking great though it's not as common.
