It's so MEAN, like I could never watch either version but the US version is so inescapable that it makes me hate the guy who plays Jim whenever I see him do anything.

I've never watched it because it's very much not for me but even just the gifs I've seen make me hate everyone involved on sight. (Ricky Gervais from the UK one is hateable on his own (lack of) merits though.)
