it’s really common on all social media though. Twitter, Bluesky, Reddit, Facebook, Insta, TikTok, and Snapchat. And it’s one of the phrases directors have teen characters say to identify them as teens. It isn’t even a new thing; they used it in Teen Wolf.

Right? Like nobody here is saying "people around me in particular say it a lot" it's really common everywhere among people under... 40? It's not common in fandom especially not fandoms of older people but it's everywhere in casual, open non-fandom spaces. Which are the majority.

It's ironic that anon is like "you say this because it's in your corner of fandom" and no, it's everywhere outside that...

Yeah, I have accounts on Twitter, Bluesky, Reddit and Facebook and I have to say that no one I follow on any of those uses it so it definitely is not as widespread as anonymous is trying to claim. Maybe in certain age groups or social demographics but not as a whole.
