I wanted to go see a ballet of The Nutcracker because I wanted to do that when I was a kid but my parents never took me...

Until my sister told me that a couple years before COVID, she and some friends went to one. The highlight for her was when there was a dramatic portion going on and right at the dramatic pause, her friend gave out a snicker/snort of a laugh and the entire theatre's mood shifted from mostly awe to awkward annoyance.
My sister and her friend felt like the ballet was a bit boring so her friend found the whole self-serious atmosphere silly. Couldn't help herself when she caught the giggles.

I mean, I might enjoy it but I have a feeling hearing my sister's story is more entertaining.
