Hmm... maybe. Nothing else seems to be working, though. People don't seem to want to vote for those who would reform the system, many in Congress don't seem to want to represent the people (that's U.S. citizens and not that stupid definition of corporations being "people"), and the corporations are too content profiting to actually help people instead of screwing them over. People are suffering and dying, and no one's being held accountable. I'm not saying it's "right," but we're running out of options here.

It got Anthem to reverse their new policy that people with unexpectedly complicated surgeries should be in pain or go into bankruptcy. So, yeah, it did make a right.

Fewer people remember that when Scrooge asked to see someone who actually felt something about his death, the Future showed him the joy of a young couple who would not be turned out onto the street on Christmas now that he was dead.

What you're seeing now is the Christmas Carol AU where TPTB turn down Jacob Marley's request to save his stupid friend from his own wickedness. The story didn't confuse the masses back then, and I have faith that you're at least as smart as the popular fiction-reading public of 1840s London.
