That's what it reminds you of too, huh?

Gary Francione, the longtime radical vegan activist, wrote some stuff that immediately got him branded a terf, but mostly consisted of the assertion that not believing a group's claims about themselves and the world is not "discrimination." You can agree someone deserves human rights without sharing a worldview. Equality claims and belief claims are different, and a pluralistic society has no business imposing the beliefs of anyone on everyone else.

The way he put it, "it is not “transphobic” to refuse to embrace trans belief claims any more than it is “Christianphobic” not to accept that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, or “Catholicphobic” not to believe that when a Catholic priest says Mass, transubstantiation occurs and the bread and wine become the body and blood of Jesus."

He's long-winded, but I thought the point was apt.
