Chase Holfelder's cover of Animal. His music fits the lyrics so much better than the original.

Hmmm respectfully disagree here, it loses the frenetic energy and chaotic passion of the original. It kinda goes from Disaster Gays to standard Bad Romance.

I guess it wasn't open at the time that the original singer was a closeted (now ex-)Mormon but pretty much everyone could tell

Agree to disagree. I hate the frenetic energy of the original, I think it sounds like pop-y trash with no passion at all.
