I love the concept of joseimuke games in theory. An entire genre of video games written with a female audience in mind? Hell yes.

In practice, though? I HATE them. If you don't like sameface idol garbage, trope-y husbando collectors, or self-insert harem romance, you're SOL. All I want is some non-slice-of-life games starring a small cast of hot guys that aren't just the same set of stock tropes and have an actual overarching plot, some real stakes, and NO ROMANCE.

I can't be the only woman out there who wants this kind of thing, right?

... right?
