... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best. Please note that long comment secrets can be difficult to make with a good end result. Most of the time, I'll give it a shot but might not be able to make secrets where the text is so lengthy that I can't fit it into the limited space.

I'll monitor this thread until tomorrow's secret post goes up, so feel free to leave your comments until then!

P.S. Please don't worry if you've submitted a secret and it hasn't been posted yet. I usually post these threads before running out of the previous batch of secrets to get a head start on the next batch.

I love how the basic premise of Watership Down is just three different variations of ACAB. Owsla starts as complacent bullyboys who turn on their own when he tries to help the Hazel and Fiver, then the warren of the Unpersoning, and finally full on fashie rabbit police state with Woundwort's.

I loved the finale of Star Trek Lower Decks, it left everyone in such a sweet spot. That's not a secret. The secret is what I loved most is that it also, in a blink and you'll miss it but still canonically there scene, decanonized Discovery into a different branch of the multiverse. Yes!!!

An FS thread got me looking up the lyrics to Baby Got Back again and I'm surprised at how... nice? a song it is.

There's of course the standard 'bimbos and hoes' misogyny of the time but like, being into 'healthy' butts? Dissing porn and fashion magazines pushing unrealistic body types and making curvy women feel fat? Explicitly saying no to verbal and physical abuse and dissing men who hit women?

I get burned almost every time. I'm still hurting from the awfulness of Man of Steel and the DCU. And yet, every time I hear that music I still get excited. Superman is my superhero. I just want a good adaption again. Please.

I am completely crushed that I find Dragon Age Veilguard so boring. I have had a rough year and was really looking forward to this as a fun distraction.

I was never interested in Ariana Grande but I enjoyed her in Wicked. So I went looking into behind the scenes stuff, which just led down a rabbit hole of her relationships and...
Jesus Christ! Someone please get this woman to a head doctor. You cannot possibly be right in the head if your entire sexual orientation appears to be "homewrecker".

Well the secret about Dwight/Jim got me intrigued in the pairing, and it has surprisingly good fic. But an untapped resource is Angela/Pam, but only with Angela absolutely dominating Pam.

I'm pretty disappointed, A03. I got the inkling to look for f/f bdsm, and all of the offerings, at least most of them, are pretty weak. It reeks of straight guys with very little knowledge of sapphic sexuality. But I'm going to be a problem solver and write my own and post it. Just gotta think of a good pairing.

I watched Bob's Burgers when it first came out and found Linda hilarious. I even related to her a little bit - spontaneous, goofy, making up little songs, etc. But now, years later, the shine is off the apple. She is literally the root of most of the family's problems and not a great parent (she puts her kids in danger often and puts her desires above theirs too often). I hope I really wasn't like her all those years ago.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by Wicked.
But the way they completely chopped up and dragged out the most iconic song without even putting a condensed version in the credits was a crime.

I can read, and sometimes prefer reading, noncon smut in my fanfic, but absolutely cannot handle watching it in movies. That feels...hypocritical? Or a contradiction at the very least.

I love the concept of joseimuke games in theory. An entire genre of video games written with a female audience in mind? Hell yes.

In practice, though? I HATE them. If you don't like sameface idol garbage, trope-y husbando collectors, or self-insert harem romance, you're SOL. All I want is some non-slice-of-life games starring a small cast of hot guys that aren't just the same set of stock tropes and have an actual overarching plot, some real stakes, and NO ROMANCE.

I can't be the only woman out there who wants this kind of thing, right?

I've been watching The Flintstones and aside from some outdated things that clearly tells you it was made 64 years ago I'm loving it so far, especially the dynamic Fred and Barney have with each other which made me ship it easily (though I don't ignore the canon ships either, I think Barney and Betty are pretty adorable! I also ship all of them together because the polycule vibes are off the charts). Imagine my face when I went to look for stuff with them together and I found just a tiny amount, which is not that surprising considering various factors but at the same time...I expected to be a little more than that. I don't know, maybe my goggles were way too adjusted?

Anyway, I hope that the upcoming Meet the Flintstones movie gives more visibility to the ship because I need more of them (this also goes for the polycule)...that is, if the demon known as Zaslav doesn't get his hands on it.

I miss old kids adventure shows. The ones where the kids were fighting to get to an adult, or get evidence to an adult, so the adult would solve things. The current trend for all adults to be useless and the kids solve everything by being supersmart is just stupid.

At this point in the environmental crisis, Batman villains Poison Ivy and Mister Freeze are now more kinda Batman heroes who are compensating for the damage caused by Global Warming and ecosystem destruction. Batman needs to spend less time punching them and more time as Bruce Wayne funding them I think.

When I was younger, I never understood why those traveling back in time or world hopping people would ever return to our totally boring reality. Especially when they were leaving new friends or/and a love interest behind.

I actually kind of miss that feeling.

I'm in my late thirties now and as much as I dislike this world sometimes, I still vastly prefer my chances of not dying of pneumonia or a toothache or a badly broken bone. Or have at least a chance to beat cancer.
Heck, having painkillers on the worst day of my period is suddenly waaaay more important that having fun adventures even.
I also really need my glasses.
(I do live in a country with universal healthcare)

I mean, I guess a world where there is a magical fix for everything that is affordable for everyone would be ok?
