Ukraine is screwed and needs to surrender. Support for it has collapsed across Europe, regardless of what America does. It is basically over now, all they'd be doing is throwing away lives.

I feel like for a lot of, even maybe a majority of people, they have short attention spans. They care about an issue for a while, but they get sick of it and stop caring.

Ukraine is still being invaded by a foreign power with absolutely no justification. Russia is still committing all the war crimes. I genuinely don't understand why opinions would have changed other than just the general fickle attention spans of people.

They don't think Ukraine can win, and they think trying to make it win will only escalate and put everyone else in danger. Time to fold and tap out. There is nothing to be gained by winning the moral argument but losing the war while doing it. Russia is in the wrong, but they also won. Sheer stubbornness on the issue is no virtue.

Which ones? Russia can barely hold the bits of Ukraine it currently holds. It needs North freaking Korea to do so, for godssake, so which other country is it gonna be able to invade? Maybe if it had a land border with Luxembourg they'd be in trouble, but nah. Russia is not the old USSR with nigh on unlimited manpower. Maybe in a few generations if it ever manages to fully integrate The Ukraine back into Russia again, but that is not gonna be something to worry about in our lifetimes. So which countries is it gonna invade and hold? Seriously, citation needed.

I hope Trump can do it. I mean Zelensky is a lying mass murderer who promised peace during his election, that's the reason he won over Porosheko. People wanted piece. Now they are grabbing men on the streets and sending them to war so that US and EU can test the new weapons, laundry the money and feed their military complex.

Israel is anexing its gheto area and neighbouring country. Hopefully it will be enough war action for the corporations. Ukraine and Russia were one country just 30 years ago. I fucking hate politicians that profit from wars, Biden and Victoria Nuland the cookie monster in particular.

Man, why does FS of all places even have a pro-Russia troll? I keep wanting to make "digital equivalent of exile to outer Siberia" jokes, but for all I know that's actually where they are. Is it just because DW is Denise's project and FS is on Dreamwidth and used to be on LJ? Are they practicing for the big leagues?

I've been thinking about this for a bit (the pro Russia troll + the terribly lost 4channer) and I'm wondering if they each get assigned an online space (or several) to make sure that someone keeps bringing it up over and over again with a given slant, no matter how removed it is from the topic of the forum in question.

I do feel kind of bad for the one assigned to us, there's not much spicy action to be had amongst maybe two-dozen aging fujos (on a good day) pawing over the scraps of yaoi left on the bones of Lord of the Rings and House MD.

Seriously. If you want to argue about Russia and spread propaganda, there's so much more active and (emphasis) not fandom-centric online spaces. It's bonkers to see a dedicated anon arguing over how we need to surrender to Russia on the same space where people confess to whether they love or hate boypussy and M!preg in their OTPs.
