AYRT: Because it feels like we cannot celebrate the "Latino Heritage month" or anything related to Latinos UNLESS we look like they EXPECT to latinos to look like: olive or dark skin, dark hair, brown eyes and Mexican accent, which is quite racist, imo. It feels like everything related to Latinos only involves if they're inside USA and, outside, latinos do not count as POC unless they step into the country. Dunno if you can get my idea.

Besides claiming that France deserved to win because they had African/French with African ancestry is almost as stupid than the ones who claims France was bought to lose against Messi. Soccer do not work that way and even then, France had the chance to obtain a third championship and be the bi champion after Russia '18.

Ah, okay, I get it. Yeah, the US is weird when it comes to race, and a lot of people seem to conflate race and ethnicity, and think all Latinos must fit the stereotypical "type" that you mentioned, which I agree is racist. Someone can, of course, be white and ALSO Latino and/or Hispanic. I definitely see how it would be frustrating to be in that situation.
