I like to think the ghost of Christmas Future shows him getting Mangioned and the whole country celebrating, but I honestly don't know if he cares enough about what people think of him for that to be motivation. Whereas Trump is ridiculously proud and appears to be motivated almost solely by what people think of him. He even enjoys negative attention. Musk is just... robotic.

Yeah my first thought was also, I think this definitely could be good and that's exactly how I'd do the future bit. I don't think a modern Scrooge character has to be a 1-to-1 Trump or Musk allegory, just, y'know, a shitty rich guy who has the capacity to change (after some ghost visits).
