i try to view it systemically overall. if i allow myself to be taken advantage of, i'm allowing the system to take advantage of someone. it helps in putting aside insecure thoughts because it doesnt matter then if its me, or if i'm good enough, or other people are better; the system shouldn't be doing that to anyone, period, and it's wrong for it to be. in standing up for yourself you're also standing up for 'to whom it may concern' which is everybody in there with you
