His presidency was just okay, IMO. Some really good things but also some really not so good things. That being said, he's done so much for the world post-presidency. He's an amazing man.

Also, since Reagan is one of my absolute least favorite presidents, I certainly wish Carter had gotten a second term.

I always think of him as “my” president because he’s the first president I was aware of as a kid. As I got older, I became happier about that because he was good person. I don’t agree with all of his beliefs but I agree with his heart and he made our country a better place in the short time he had the chance.

I always love the story about him being exposed to nuclear radiation as a young man. It did not shorten his life!
