Like for me for 'not getting it' would be Star Wars, I find the films half-way fun at best and cannot get into it like others and while there's a little FOMO on my end when there's new content I'm also okay with not being into that part of pop-culture. Trying to force interest is worse and I'd rather watch from afar while SW fans have their fun.
