Re: Secrets you don't want to make...

When my child was in middle school, I scrounged up enough money to take her to see our favorite podcasters, the McElroy Brothers, live. I was so excited and proud of myself, and felt like a good mom for being able to do this for my child during a difficult time for us (my ex-husband had moved out and we were going through a toxic divorce). I was happy right up until we get lead to our seats...in the nosebleeds. My child was visibly distraught, and so was I. I didn't realize I bought seats so far away from the stage. My child didn't give me a hard time, she's a nicer kid than that, but her facial expression, even if she hid it, made me feel so bad. We couldn't see anything and could barely hear. To this day, I am still trying to land premium seats next time they come into town for another live show.
