Tons. I got to the end of Empire Strikes Back feeling like "aaah Vader, you were so close ..." and about ready to kill R2 for managing to get the Falcon out of there at the last second. Luke's broken, muttered "I won't be able to resist him" just had me wild. XD;

With all sorts of stories where the villain tries to take the hero's love interest, I thought the lady was crazy. Five year old me watched The Swan Princess like, "why on earth would anyone prefer a boring prince to an amazing, shape-shifting sorceror??"

Pretty much any situation where a charismatic villain makes a "join me!" speech, with fairly little regard to whether what they're describing sounds good or sounds like a gorey dystopia. I just like imagining THAT fork in the road being taken, regardless.

Situations with a dragon and a knight - I absolutely want the dragon to rip the puny human to pieces.

By the way, when stories go "look, the only people who like this guy are weak willed and stupid," I just think the author is abusing their soapbox. They're free to write whatever they want, but I'm just as free to have fun against the grain if I want. And I do.

NGL, this was me with Kylo Ren and Rey in The Last Jedi. I wanted him to lure her to the Dark Side so they could rule the galaxy together. Failing that, I wanted Kylo to go full on Dark Lord like the end of that movie implied he was going to. I'm still disappointed about what we could have had. *sigh*

Fair. I would have liked both of those endings better than what they actually went with.
