Hulu has put up the entire original Law and Order Series so of course I'm bingeing the hell out of it.

As a Historian, I genuinely feel like this is one of the best historical resources we have. I barely notice the difference in fashion or technology, but watching the evolution of attitudes toward cyber bullying (and the internet in general), surrogacy, racism, gender and sexuality, consent, child-rearing, the encroachment of the digital age etc etc etc - this stuff is pure gold. I feel like it should be required viewing for tons of people who genuinely cannot grasp that TIMES HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT, Fair For Its Day is a real thing and that no modern "correct" view just appeared out of the ether. It's a process that you can literally watch happening in real time on that show.
