I know I would love to tear down at least a couple of the bits, not out of malice you understand, just some of the bits I loved was torn down from me and misery does love company even if you don't intend to go there in the conversation. Stay out of fandom if you love it untouched, smart advice.

Honestly I only go to fandom for shows I don't 100% love. I love aspects of them or specific characters or something, but if I genuinely just enjoy and love a show I stay away from the fandom (other than fic).

Honestly, I get this OP. Very smart. There are some fandoms that welcome differing opinions and are just generally welcoming. Who is not one of those fandoms.

I dipped my toes in the Doctor Who fandom a few times because I really just wanted to squee with fans and none of my friends watch the show, but that turned out to be a big mistake. Maybe it’s just where I went, but everybody was unhappy. Made me wonder why they were still fans.
