Agreed so hard. In hindsight, it reeks of deliberate writing fuckery - they chose to write her as vehemently against having kids just to flip the script in the finale. It's not character development at that point, it's contrived writing of the worst kind. To be expected from sitcoms, tbh, but also hugely annoying.

Then again Penny and her deadpan delivery is the only good thing about the show anyway, so it's a slap in the face to do her like that.
